Resting just over five miles away is the centre of Maidstone, perfect for accessing a number of traditional pubs and restaurants for some fine food, whilst their selection of independent shops and supermarkets are ideal for picking up those last-minute essentials. Make sure to explore some of Maidstone's finest sites, including Mote Park which spans across 440 acres where you can take long walks or even cycle through the country, or venture towards the Kent Downs AONB for a larger choice of country sites.

Maidstone Museum is also a popular choice, resting in a former Elizabethan manor house with over 660,000 artefacts and artwork on display.
