Glaisdale village is nearby with Arncliffe Arms pub, a village shop/Post Office, a butcher's serving excellent pies, and the fascinating attraction of the Museum of Victorian Science. Further afield, the seaside town of Whitby is home to the stunning Whitby Abbey, the family-friendly Whitby Beach, and Whitby Golf Club.

The picture-postcard fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay is also nearby, or perhaps make your way to Pickering to explore the ruins of the 13th-century Castle and Beck Isle Museum. Offering the best of countryside and coast, Nab End Farm Cottages are a wonderful base all year-round.
