Venture across to Keswick for numerous shops and restaurants, as well as a visit to the Derwent Pencil Museum, Keswick Museum and Art Gallery and the famous Theatre by the Lake. There is also miniature golf, excellent parks, a climbing wall, and opportunities for fishing and mountain biking, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the Borrowdale Valley is not to be missed or is the Castlerigg Stone Corcle, thought to be 5000 years old.
