The St Cuthbert's Way begins in Melrose and spans 62 miles all the way to Lindisfarne, while the Eildon Hills are accessible right from the town centre, and a pleasant riverside stroll along the River Tweed is always a delightful choice. Visit the stunning ruins of Melrose Abbey, dating back to the 14th century and now home to a museum, as well as the National Trust for Scotland’s Priorwood Garden, where you can find beautiful flora and fauna, and even 90 different types of apples.
