Coniston Water, the third largest lake in the Lake District, is 15 miles away, where you can jump aboard the Steam Gondola for a gentle cruise or explore the surrounding fells and woods. The Furness Peninsula offers breathtaking sunsets and is an area rich in natural flora and fauna, a great place to enjoy a bracing walk.
