Visit the village of Goosnargh, where you can find a handy convenience store, perfect for stocking up on the self-catering essentials, as well as The Stags Head, a charming pub where you and your group can enjoy some hearty fare and a cold beverage on the nights you don’t feel like cooking! Places away from the property, discover Beacon Fell Country Park, a lovely spot to embark on rural walks or delight in a picnic, before tackling Beacon Fell itself; from the summit, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views across the Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay. A short car journey away, in the city of Preston tour a range of exhibits at the Lancashire Infantry Museum, Harris Museum & Art Gallery. Also well-positioned here to spend the day in The Ribble Valley, visiting Clitheroe, the Roman settlement of Ribchester and some of the other lovely Ribble Valley villages, such as Waddington, Bolton by Bowland or cycle/walk the trails of Gisburn Forest.
